Beauty Lounge I’m originally from Mexico and have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. I graduated from Leon’s Beauty School, and since then, I’ve truly loved helping people feel confident and beautiful through my work. My passion for hair and my love for culture and identity led me to explore more than one path—I went back to school, earned my Associate’s degree from GTCC, and later completed my Master’s in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at UNCG. Throughout the years, I’ve volunteered with organizations like Hospice and worked with students from elementary to college in teaching, mentoring, and advising roles. Giving back to the community has always been close to my heart, and that commitment continues to guide me in everything I do. Opening Lily & Co. Beauty Lounge was a dream come true—a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, and leave feeling their absolute best. I’ve completed multiple leadership and entrepreneurial trainings, and I continue learning and growing in this field I love so much. I specialize in hair color and cutting for the whole family, and I’ve trained with brands like Wella and Joico, attended industry shows, and taken lots of online courses to stay up to date with the latest trends. When I’m not at the salon, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, my two beautiful daughters, and my wonderful son. I’m also excited to work on future community projects and support local nonprofits in meaningful ways.
