Lily & Company:

Welcome, meet the team that makes Lily & Company!

Liliana Lira-Rivera

Founder of Lily & Co. Beauty Lounge

I’m originally from Mexico and have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. I graduated from Leon’s Beauty School, and since then, I’ve truly loved helping people feel confident and beautiful through my work. My passion for hair and my love for culture and identity led me to explore more than one path—I went back to school, earned my Associate’s degree from GTCC, and later completed my Master’s in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at UNCG.

Throughout the years, I’ve volunteered with organizations like Hospice and worked with students from elementary to college in teaching, mentoring, and advising roles. Giving back to the community has always been close to my heart, and that commitment continues to guide me in everything I do.

Opening Lily & Co. Beauty Lounge was a dream come true—a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, and leave feeling their absolute best. I’ve completed multiple leadership and entrepreneurial trainings, and I continue learning and growing in this field I love so much. I specialize in hair color and cutting for the whole family, and I’ve trained with brands like Wella and Joico, attended industry shows, and taken lots of online courses to stay up to date with the latest trends.

When I’m not at the salon, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, my two beautiful daughters, and my wonderful son. I’m also excited to work on future community projects and support local nonprofits in meaningful ways.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me—I can’t wait to welcome you to the salon!

Tiziana Scala

Tiziana Scala was born in Southern Italy and moved to the United States at the age of four. She grew up in Upstate New York, where she completed vocational school and became a licensed cosmetologist. With over 35 years of professional experience, Tiziana has devoted her career to helping clients feel confident and beautiful.

Cosmetology runs in her family—several of her aunts, uncles, cousins, and siblings are also in the profession—so it has always been a natural part of her life. While living in New York, she enhanced her skills by attending advanced training with L’Oréal, Paul Mitchell, and Toni & Guy.

Tiziana enjoys all aspects of cosmetology, with a special passion for coloring. She deeply values each client who chooses her as their stylist and strives to make every appointment a personalized, enjoyable experience.

She has been happily married for 29 years and moved to Greensboro, NC, 24 years ago, where she raised her three children. Tiziana has spent many years volunteering in school programs while her children were growing up. In her free time, she loves country music, spending time at the beach, and—most of all—being with her family and friends.

Katie Brown

I’m so excited to continue my journey here at Lily & Co. Salon, where I’ve proudly been a part of the team for the past four years! I graduated from Leon’s Beauty School in 2018 and began my career at Supercuts, where I worked for four years—two of those as a shift leader.

I bring a strong foundation in men’s fading and women’s bonding, and I’m especially confident working with color lines like Paul Mitchell, Redken, and Joico. I have a true passion for the cosmetology industry and am always eager to learn, grow, and help my clients feel their best.

I look forward to many more years of creativity, connection, and transformation here at Lily & Co.!

Teresa Stover

Hello, I am Teresa Stover, the Salon Coordinator at Lily & Co. I love people so this is the perfect job for me. I have been in this business for about 30 years. I had my own salon for 15 years and had my esthetic licenses during that time, so I did facials and body treatments. I stepped away to raise my oldest grandson and now that he is 18, I decided it was time to return to what I love. I am so excited to be working with Liliana and helping her “Dream” come true.
